While Yoga has numerous benefits, the most relevant ones for the purpose of overcoming binge eating and its effects are loosing weight and reducing stress.

Although the physical aspect of Yoga is the one most relevant for the task of burning calories, because it also promotes stress reduction it allows us to lessen our dependence on coping mechanisms, such as binge eating.

To gain even greater emotional stability, you may enhance your practice through meditation and breath control.
